With Ionna announcing its first recharging station, we’re finally underway in hopefully what will be a far better charging experience than what we have out there. As part of the press release, Ionna included a rendering of the station with a bunch of EVs parked at it. Because Ionna includes 8 different automakers, the selection is quite interesting.
Remember, as of the date of this publication the following automakers have signed on to Ionna;
- BMW
- GM
- Honda
- Hyundai
- Kia
- Mercedes-Benz
- Stellantis
- Toyota
Now, let’s take an up close and personal look at the rendering…

Up front we see the obvious BMW i5. Also featured prominently is the Dodge Charger Daytona (in what looks like Banshee trim). Parked next to it is a Mercedes-EQ EQS SUV. Next to it looks like a Lexus RZ, but it could possibly be the bZ4X Toyota. And then next to it is a Honda Prologue.
Back in the corner because it couldn’t fit in a parking spot is the Hummer EV pickup truck. It’s unclear if the food trucks are electric in this video, but there are a few companies out there making those types of trucks that run on electricity, including Harbinger.
Moving to the other side, and going from right to left, we have the Hyundai Ioniq 5, and then the Kia EV6. The last vehicle on the left is a bit of an unknown. We’re reasonably confident that it’s a Cadillac Lyriq. The taillight matches, but the similarly-colored bollard is throwing us off a bit. We might be wrong, but we’re going with Lyriq.
That would all mean that at least one EV from each brand is represented in the image, which is something we’d come to expect. But it’d also be a heck of a thing to pull up to to have this many different EVs in one place.
It’s like charging at the Ypsilanti Electrify America station and seeing a Lordstown Endurance charging next to a VinFast VF8 charging next to a Rivian R1S. Which is something that I have, indeed, witnessed.
If you’d like to see the above image enhanced, we put it through an AI processor to see if it could be clearer. We’re not sure it helps much, but in case you want to take a look you can view it uncompressed right here. It’s nearly a 26 megabyte file, so you’ll probably want to open it on a computer and not a phone.
