At its highest off-road setting, the suspension provides up to 10.9 inches of ground clearance, with approach, breakover, and departure angles of 35.7, 22.3, and 30.0 degrees, respectively. The model is rated to tow up to 6,000 pounds when properly equipped.

Trailhawk-specific features include an electronic limited-slip rear differential, a two-speed transfer case with low range, and a front sway bar disconnect system. These components work together to maintain traction on uneven terrain.
