Concept AMG GT XX sets endurance benchmark
The Mercedes-AMG Concept GT XX completed a high-speed endurance test at the Nardò proving ground, covering 40,075 kilometers in just over seven and a half days while setting 25 performance records.
Focused interior designed for performance
The cabin of the Concept AMG GT XX features a driver-focused layout with lightweight materials, racing-inspired seating, and digital displays designed to support extended high-speed operation.
High-performance charging at Nardò
During the test, the Concept AMG GT XX used ultra-fast charging stations delivering an average of 850 kW, allowing the vehicle to regain up to 400 kilometers of range in approximately five minutes.
Maintaining high speeds on the test track
Engineers maintained a constant speed of 300 km/h during the record-setting drive, balancing energy efficiency and performance across more than 3,000 laps of the 12.68-kilometer circuit.
Preparing for continued testing
Two Concept AMG GT XX prototypes participated in the program, finishing within 25 kilometers of each other after completing the equivalent of a full circumnavigation of the globe.
