The 2026 Kia EV4 debuts in New York

Kia introduced its first global electric sedan, the 2026 EV4, at the New York International Auto Show. Built on the company’s 400V E-GMP platform, the EV4 is scheduled to arrive in the U.S. market in early 2026.

Two battery options with up to 330 miles of range

The EV4 Light trim features a 58.3 kWh battery, while the Wind and GT-Line trims include an 81.4 kWh battery. Kia estimates the Wind trim will offer up to 330 miles of range on a full charge.

Interior design emphasizes simplicity and tech

The cabin includes a floating interface, a two-spoke steering wheel, and a nearly 30-inch combined widescreen display. Available features include ambient lighting, wireless smartphone integration, and over-the-air updates.

Standard driver assistance with optional upgrades

Standard safety features include Highway Driving Assist and Hands-On Detection. Optional systems include Forward Collision Avoidance Assist, Lane Following Assist, and Remote Smart Parking Assist.
