Ford has announced several updates to the 2024 Mustang Mach-E, incorporating customer feedback to improve various aspects of the vehicle. The 2024 Mustang Mach-E GT, now with a Performance Upgrade, is positioned as the fastest production version of the model, surpassing competitors such as the Tesla Model Y Performance and the Porsche Macan 4 Electric. This upgrade, which is standard on the new Mustang Mach-E Rally and available as an option for the Mustang Mach-E GT, increases torque by 100 lb. ft. through a new in-house eMotor and improved powertrain thermal modeling.

The 2024 Mustang Mach-E GT will feature standardized performance components, including Ford Performance front seats, the MagneRide Damping System, and Brembo-branded front brake calipers. Additionally, a new, lighter rear eMotor, developed by Ford engineers, contributes to the increased torque output across the entire lineup.

Charging times for the 2024 Mustang Mach-E have been reduced, with the vehicle charging approximately 20 percent faster than previous models. This improvement translates to a reduction of 8.8 minutes for the extended range battery and 5.7 minutes for the standard range battery during DC fast charging from 10-80%. All models have seen range improvements, with the Mustang Mach-E Select and Premium variants gaining a 20-mile increase and the GT variant a 10-mile increase in EPA-estimated range.

Ford is also expanding access to the BlueOval Charge Network, which now includes over 15,000 Tesla Superchargers. The new Bronze Appearance Package for the GT model introduces unique styling elements. The Mustang Mach-E Rally, Ford’s first rally-inspired electric vehicle, is designed for both on and off-road performance and is raised 1 inch higher than the GT model.

Software updates include a redesigned 15.5-inch screen interface for improved app and information access, integration of USB and Bluetooth technology for entertainment, and the introduction of the BlueCruise hands-free highway driving system. Pricing details for the 2024 Mustang Mach-E lineup have been provided, with various options and packages available to customize the vehicle.
