Audi has released full specifications and pricing for the 2025 A6 Sportback e-tron lineup, which will arrive at dealerships in the United States during the summer of 2025. The all-electric model will be offered in three configurations: the A6 Sportback e-tron, the A6 Sportback e-tron quattro, and the S6 Sportback e-tron.
The A6 Sportback e-tron uses the Premium Platform Electric architecture and features a drag coefficient of 0.23. The rear-wheel drive model, when equipped with the optional ultra package, has an EPA-estimated range of 392 miles. The A6 quattro variant offers an estimated range of 377 miles, and the higher-performance S6 version provides a range of 324 miles when equipped with 20-inch wheels.
All three models are equipped with a 100 kWh battery, with 94.4 kWh usable capacity. They support 800-volt DC fast charging at speeds of up to 270 kW. Under optimal conditions, charging from 10 percent to 80 percent can be completed in approximately 21 minutes. AC charging at up to 9.6 kW is also supported for home charging solutions.
Power output varies across the lineup. The base A6 Sportback e-tron produces 375 horsepower and uses a single rear-mounted motor. The A6 quattro version includes dual motors with a combined 456 horsepower and can accelerate from 0 to 60 miles per hour in 4.3 seconds. The S6 Sportback e-tron increases performance further with 543 horsepower and a 0 to 60 time of 3.7 seconds. The S6 also has a top speed of 149 miles per hour.
The infotainment system consists of an 11.9-inch digital instrument display and a 14.5-inch center touchscreen. An additional 10.9-inch front passenger display is available on select trims. Optional interior features include a Bang & Olufsen sound system, a panoramic glass roof with adjustable opacity, and headrest speakers for individual audio playback.
Trim levels for all models include Premium, Premium Plus, and Prestige. Including the $1,295 destination charge, pricing begins at $67,195 for the A6 Sportback e-tron, $69,195 for the A6 Sportback e-tron quattro, and $79,995 for the S6 Sportback e-tron. The Prestige version of the S6 reaches $85,895.
Digital systems include Audi’s latest infotainment platform based on Android Automotive. Various Audi connect service tiers are available, offering remote vehicle access, navigation, app integration, and a Wi-Fi hotspot. All versions also come with a digital key that allows owners to use a compatible phone or smartwatch to access and start the vehicle.
The vehicle’s rear hatch and folding second row seats enable up to 39.9 cubic feet of storage space. Standard wheels include 19-inch and 20-inch designs, with up to 21-inch wheels available on the S6. Aerodynamic efficiency is supported by design elements such as a flat underbody and active cooling air intakes.
Driver assistance features are standard across the range and include adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, traffic sign recognition, rear cross-traffic assist, and several other safety systems.
The A6 Sportback e-tron lineup is part of a broader initiative from Audi, which plans to introduce more than 20 new or significantly redesigned models within two years. This rollout includes both electric and internal combustion models.
