Ford has introduced the 2025 Maverick with a range of new features and updates based on customer feedback. The updated model continues to emphasize capability and versatility, incorporating additional technology and options to meet evolving consumer needs.
A major update for the 2025 Maverick is the introduction of an all-wheel-drive hybrid option, available on the XL, XLT, and Lariat trims. This addition enhances the vehicle’s performance in challenging terrains and adverse weather conditions. The hybrid all-wheel-drive model can be equipped with a 4K Tow Package, increasing the towing capacity to 4,000 pounds.
The interior of the 2025 Maverick has been updated with the inclusion of SYNC 4 technology, now displayed on a 13.2-inch touchscreen, which is the largest in its class. This system features wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, eliminating the need for smartphone cords. The vehicle also comes with a built-in 5G modem for over-the-air software updates.
New towing technologies have been introduced, including Pro Trailer Hitch Assist and Pro Trailer Backup Assist. These features, standard on the Lariat and Tremor trims, facilitate easier hitching and maneuvering of trailers. This is particularly relevant as nearly half of Maverick owners use their vehicles for towing.
In terms of safety, the 2025 Maverick includes Ford Co-Pilot360 technology, which encompasses Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking, Lane-Keeping Aid, a Rear View Camera, and Auto LED High-Beam Headlamps. Higher trims, such as the Lariat and Tremor, also offer Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop-and-Go, Lane Centering, and Speed Sign Recognition.
The exterior of the Maverick has been refreshed with redesigned LED headlamps and various grille designs depending on the trim level. The interior also features new color options and materials, with unique accents and themes available on specific trims.
The 2025 Maverick starts at an MSRP of $26,295, with an additional $1,595 for destination and delivery. Orders for the new model will open on August 1, with deliveries anticipated to begin in late 2024.
