The 2025 Chevrolet Silverado EV will be introduced later this year with three trim options, offering increased range, new features, and pricing flexibility for both retail and commercial buyers. The Silverado EV has set a new benchmark for electric trucks with its Max Range version, which provides up to 492 miles on a full charge, making it the range leader in the segment.
The truck will be available in Work Truck (WT), LT, and RST trims, with varying levels of range, equipment, and pricing. The starting Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) for the lineup is $57,095, and certain models may qualify for the full $7,500 federal tax credit, depending on customer eligibility.
According to Scott Bell, Vice President of Chevrolet, range and price are two significant barriers to EV adoption among truck buyers. The 2024 Silverado EV was already the range leader, but the 2025 model raises that standard further. Chevrolet is also expanding the lineup to provide more affordable and flexible options by introducing the LT trim and offering a broader range of WT models. This expansion aims to address consumer concerns about both range and price.
For the 2025 model year, the Silverado EV’s trim options include:
- Work Truck (WT): The WT will be available with three battery pack options. The Max Range version will offer 492 miles of EPA-estimated range and have a starting price of $77,795. The Extended Range version, with an EPA-estimated range of 422 miles, will start at $69,495. A standard range version will also be available later in the year, with pricing and range details to be provided closer to its launch.
- LT: The LT trim will be available for the first time in the Silverado EV lineup, offering a range of 408 miles for the standard version and 390 miles for the LT Premium Package. The LT trim starts at $75,195, while the LT Premium Package is priced at $81,995. The LT includes features such as a 17.7-inch center infotainment screen, 300 kW DC public fast charging capability, and up to 765 lb-ft of torque in Wide Open Watts mode.
- RST: The RST trim will be offered with two battery options, delivering either 460 miles of GM-estimated range for the Max Range version or 390 miles of EPA-estimated range for the Extended Range version. The starting price for the RST is $89,395, with the Max Range version priced at $97,895.
The LT trim also features standard equipment such as a Multi-Flex Tailgate and is available in six exterior colors, including an exclusive Blue Smoke Metallic. For buyers opting for the LT Premium Package, additional features such as the Multi-Flex Midgate and Super Cruise driver assistance technology are available.
The Silverado EV RST trim will also offer an exclusive Zephyr Blue Matte Metallic color option, and the Work Truck trim introduces a new Slate Gray exterior color. All versions of the 2025 Silverado EV will be assembled at GM’s Factory Zero Detroit-Hamtramck Assembly Center in Michigan, which plays a central role in the company’s transition to an all-electric future.
The Silverado EV is expected to reach customers by the end of the year, with more details on specific models and range estimates to be released as their launch dates approach.
