Acura will debut the all-electric RSX Prototype during Monterey Car Week. The SUV is based on the Acura Performance EV Concept and previews the upcoming production Acura RSX, which is scheduled to reach dealerships in the second half of 2026.
The RSX will be the first vehicle developed on Acura’s new in-house electric vehicle platform. It will also introduce the company’s proprietary ASIMO OS operating system, which was first announced at CES 2025.
Production of the Acura RSX will take place at Honda’s EV Hub in Ohio. The facility uses a flexible manufacturing line that also builds the Acura Integra. The RSX will be assembled using a combination of domestically and globally sourced components.
