Cadillac has announced the upcoming release of the 2026 Lyriq-V, marking the first electric SUV to be included in its V-Series performance sub-brand. The Lyriq-V is set to launch in early 2025 and will be available in select markets globally, including the United States, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. The vehicle will be offered in both left-hand-drive and right-hand-drive configurations. Cadillac plans to announce additional markets at a later date.
John Roth, vice president of Global Cadillac, stated that the Lyriq-V reflects the luxury, performance, and innovation that define the Cadillac brand. The introduction of this model expands Cadillac’s portfolio as it continues to transition into the electric vehicle market.
The V-Series, which marked its 20th anniversary in 2024, represents Cadillac’s high-performance sub-brand. Going forward, V-Series vehicles in the electric vehicle category will emphasize high levels of performance, fast acceleration, competitive driving range, and standard all-wheel drive.
