Cadillac has introduced the 2026 Escalade IQL, an all-electric addition to its full-size luxury SUV lineup. The vehicle expands on the Escalade IQ by offering additional passenger and cargo capacity. Production is scheduled to begin in mid-2025 at General Motors’ Factory ZERO plant in Detroit, with availability in the U.S., Canada, and other global markets.

The Escalade IQL features an extended body design that increases space in the third row and rear storage. The vehicle also includes an eTrunk under the hood, providing 12.2 cubic feet of additional storage. The interior offers premium materials and advanced technology, including an available Executive Second Row package. This package includes stowable tray tables, 12.6-inch personal screens, a rear command center, dual wireless phone charging pads, and seats with massaging, heating, and ventilation functions. The third row has an extra four inches of legroom and one inch of additional headroom compared to the standard Escalade IQ.

The SUV features a 55-inch curved pillar-to-pillar display for infotainment, navigation, and system controls. It supports voice commands and includes dedicated Escalade IQL graphics. The vehicle seats up to seven passengers and includes a power-folding third row. The standard audio system is an AKG Studio setup with 21 speakers, with an optional upgrade to a 42-speaker AKG Studio Reference system. Other features include Dolby Atmos, a standard Super Cruise driver assistance system, a 5G Wi-Fi hotspot, and various OnStar connectivity services. The Escalade IQL also supports vehicle-to-home bidirectional charging when paired with GM Energy’s V2H bundle.

The electric powertrain delivers up to 460 miles of estimated range. It supports DC fast charging, adding up to 116 miles of range in 10 minutes. The vehicle utilizes a 24-module GM battery with a 205 kWh capacity. Performance specifications include up to 750 horsepower and 785 lb-ft of torque with Velocity Max mode. Cadillac estimates a 0-60 mph time of 4.7 seconds. The maximum towing capacity is rated at 7,500 pounds.

The suspension system includes Magnetic Ride Control 4.0 and Air Ride Adaptive suspension, designed to provide a smooth ride. The vehicle rides on 24-inch wheels and features an independent front and rear suspension. Standard safety and driver assistance technologies are included across all trims. The Escalade IQL will be available in four trims: Luxury, Sport, Premium Luxury, and Premium Sport. Pricing starts at $132,695, excluding taxes, title, and dealer fees.

Since its introduction, the Cadillac Escalade has remained a key player in the full-size luxury SUV segment, with more than one million units sold globally. Cadillac continues to expand the Escalade lineup with both internal combustion and electric models.
