General Motors has confirmed that the Chevrolet Bolt will return to the market for the 2027 model year. The Bolt, first introduced in 2017, was one of the first mass-produced electric vehicles to offer long-range capability at a comparatively low price. Production of the previous-generation model ended in December 2023.
According to GM, the upcoming Bolt will feature updates to the front fascia and rear tail lamps. It will also be equipped with a North American Charging Standard (NACS) port. The company has not provided further details on other updates or specifications at this time but stated that additional information will be shared in the coming months.
