Genesis introduces exclusive “Vision Blue” color for Electrified G80 at Beijing exhibition

At the Beijing International Automotive Exhibition (Auto China 2024), Genesis, the luxury automotive brand, showcased the redesigned Electrified G80 alongside three models from its Magma program. This presentation underscores the brand’s dedication to innovation and localization within the Chinese market.

The Electrified G80 is a luxury sedan that has been introduced with a new color exclusive to China, named “Vision Blue.” This color, inspired by a traditional Chinese saying, reflects Genesis’s effort to cater to local preferences. The sedan also features a longer wheelbase, which improves passenger comfort and interior space, and includes advanced technological enhancements for a more luxurious driving experience.

Additionally, Genesis presented its Magma program in China, which includes high-performance variants of its vehicles. The G80 EV Magma Concept, along with the X Gran Berlinetta Concept and GV60 Magma Concept, were introduced with distinctive colors and are designed to combine high performance with luxury. The G80 EV Magma Concept features extensive modifications for improved performance, such as a redesigned grille, wider fenders, a new rear bumper, and enhanced aerodynamics focused on high-speed stability.

The event marks Genesis’s three-year anniversary in China and reflects its strategy to strengthen its presence in the market by aligning with the preferences and demands of Chinese consumers. Genesis remains committed to adapting its global models for the Chinese market while continuing to advance its offerings.
