The 2025 Honda Prologue, an all-electric SUV, receives updates that increase its driving range and power output. The vehicle now has an EPA-estimated range of up to 308 miles, a 12-mile increase over the previous model. The Prologue also sees power improvements, with the all-wheel-drive (AWD) variant now producing 300 horsepower and 355 lb-ft of torque.
The vehicle remains available in three trim levels: EX, Touring, and Elite. The base model Prologue EX has a Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of $47,400 before any applicable federal tax incentives. All versions of the 2025 Prologue are eligible for the $7,500 federal EV tax credit.
Honda reports that the Prologue was the best-selling non-Tesla EV in the fourth quarter of 2024. According to Honda, customer feedback indicates that brand trust played a significant role in purchasing decisions.

The Prologue’s single-motor, two-wheel-drive model now delivers 220 horsepower, an increase of 8 horsepower over the previous model, and 243 lb-ft of torque. The AWD model’s EPA range ratings have also improved, with the EX and Touring trims reaching 294 miles and the Elite trim rated at 283 miles.
The Prologue supports DC fast charging up to 150 kW, allowing the vehicle to gain an estimated 65 miles of range in approximately 10 minutes. Honda plans to expand access to DC fast-charging stations, including the upcoming IONNA network, Tesla Superchargers, and existing networks such as EVgo and Electrify America.
Customers purchasing a Prologue can select one of three charging packages, which offer a combination of home charging equipment, installation credits, and public charging credits. Options include:
- A Level 2 home charging station with a $500 installation credit and $100 in EVgo charging credit
- A Level 1 and Level 2 portable charging kit with a $250 installation credit and $300 in EVgo credit
- $750 in EVgo charging credit with no home charging equipment
Each package includes 60 kWh of complimentary charging through Electrify America.
The Prologue includes standard technology features such as Google built-in, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a wireless phone charger, heated front seats, and Honda’s driver-assistance suite, HondaSensing.

Honda continues its focus on electrification, with plans to offer expanded charging access and a growing lineup of electrified vehicles. The company states that by 2030, its EV customers will have access to approximately 100,000 DC fast-charging stations in North America.
