Hyundai Motor Company has officially introduced the Ioniq 6 N at the 2025 Goodwood Festival of Speed in West Sussex, England. The vehicle is Hyundai N’s second high-performance electric model, following the Ioniq 5 N. It incorporates hardware and software systems developed through Hyundai’s motorsport and “rolling lab” programs.
The Ioniq 6 N features a dual-motor all-wheel-drive setup with a maximum output of 650 PS (478 kW or approximately 641 horsepower) and 770 Nm of torque (approximately 568 lb-ft) when the N Grin Boost function is active. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) is estimated at 3.2 seconds, with a top speed of 257 km/h (160 mph). The powertrain is supported by an 84.0 kWh battery with enhanced thermal management. Under optimal conditions, Hyundai estimates that charging from 10% to 80% with a 350 kW DC fast charger takes approximately 18 minutes.
Hyundai emphasizes that the Ioniq 6 N is designed to meet its three key N brand performance pillars: “Corner Rascal,” “Racetrack Capability,” and “Everyday Sportscar.” To support these attributes, the vehicle includes a redesigned suspension system, stroke-sensing electronically controlled dampers, updated chassis geometry, and aerodynamic elements such as a swan neck rear wing and widened fenders. It rides on 275/35R20 HN-marked Pirelli P-Zero 5 performance tires.
The vehicle includes a number of software-based performance features such as N Launch Control, N Drift Optimizer, N Torque Distribution, and N Pedal settings. The N e-Shift system simulates internal combustion engine-like gear shifts for added driver engagement. N Active Sound+ provides three selectable artificial powertrain soundtracks. An interior ambient shift light cues optimal shift points visually. The N Track Manager allows for lap time tracking, ghost car visualization, and the creation of custom tracks.
The Ioniq 6 N will be offered in several exterior paint finishes including a newly developed Performance Blue Pearl. The interior is finished in black with Performance Blue accents. Adjustable regenerative braking is available up to 0.6 G. Torque split between the front and rear axles can be configured across 11 levels, and drift characteristics such as initiation, angle, and wheel spin can be individually adjusted.
At Goodwood, Hyundai is showcasing the Ioniq 6 N alongside the Ioniq 5 N, Ioniq 5 N TA Spec, and other N performance vehicles. A scheduled demonstration run, dubbed the “N Moment,” is set to take place on July 10. The Ioniq 6 N is on display both in standard form and with available N performance parts.
The vehicle’s dimensions are 4,935 mm (194.3 inches) in length, 1,940 mm (76.4 inches) in width, and 1,495 mm (58.9 inches) in height, with a wheelbase of 2,965 mm (116.7 inches). The drag coefficient is 0.27. Brakes include 400 mm (15.7 inches) front rotors with four-piston calipers and 360 mm (14.2 inches) rear rotors with single-piston calipers.
Estimated range figures have not yet been finalized and will be announced closer to regional market launches.
