Ioniq 5 N buyers can choose free home charger or charging credit

Hyundai is offering a new promotion for customers who purchase or lease the 2025 IONIQ 5 N. Buyers will have the option to choose between a complimentary ChargePoint Home Flex Level 2 EV charger or a $450 charging credit. The charging credit can be applied to various networks, including EVgo, Shell Recharge, and ChargePoint stations through the ChargePoint app, providing flexibility for customers who prefer public charging solutions.

To qualify for this offer, customers must redeem their choice within 90 days of the purchase or lease date. Those opting for the home charger will receive a coupon code to schedule installation through Hyundai’s Home Marketplace. However, installation fees, taxes, and additional costs are not covered by the promotion, and the installation must be completed within 180 days.

Customers who select the $450 charging credit will also be provided a coupon code that allows them to apply the credit to public charging sessions through the ChargePoint app. The credit must be redeemed within 90 days of purchase or lease and can be used over a two-year period.

The promotion applies to purchases made between July 16, 2024, and December 31, 2025. Customers who purchased or leased an IONIQ 5 N before the start of the program can still take advantage of the offer if they redeem it by October 14, 2024. This offer is part of Hyundai’s broader efforts to support customers transitioning to electric vehicles by providing practical charging solutions, either at home or on the go.

Hyundai’s Home Marketplace also offers additional products like solar panels and home energy storage systems to support customers’ broader home electrification needs. Hyundai has partnered with Electrum to provide expert guidance for customers navigating the installation process and integrating EV charging systems into their homes.

The offer is subject to terms and conditions, including vehicle availability and participation by select dealers. The vehicle must be purchased from retail stock, and the offer is not available in all states.
