The Jeep brand has confirmed that the all-new Jeep Cherokee will arrive in late 2025. The next-generation Cherokee has been redesigned and will introduce a hybrid propulsion system as part of its powertrain offerings. Jeep stated that the new hybrid model is intended to expand customer choice within the midsize SUV segment.
The company plans to position the new Cherokee between the Jeep Compass and Jeep Grand Cherokee, targeting the largest vehicle segment in North America. Pricing for the Cherokee is expected to be competitive within its class.

According to Jeep, the next-generation Cherokee will continue to build on the brand’s heritage while incorporating modern innovations. The hybrid powertrain option will join Jeep’s broader lineup, which includes internal combustion engine (ICE), plug-in hybrid, hybrid, and all-electric models.
The Cherokee is expected to play a key role in Jeep’s strategy to offer a diverse range of vehicles that combine capability and efficiency.
