Jeep is showcasing new plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) concepts at the 59th annual Easter Jeep Safari in Moab, Utah, taking place from April 12 to April 20, 2025. The event will include the debut of two Wrangler-based 4xe concept vehicles among seven total Jeep concept builds presented by Jeep and Jeep Performance Parts (JPP) by Mopar.

The Jeep Bug Out 4xe Concept is a carbon-fiber-bodied Wrangler 4xe designed for off-grid travel. It is equipped for overlanding and ultralight camping. The concept emphasizes extended mobility and remote capability, tailored for off-road environments.

The Jeep Wrangler 4xe Blueprint Concept serves as a showcase for approximately 40 factory-backed Jeep Performance Parts. This vehicle functions as a mobile catalog for parts that are available to enhance production vehicles, particularly the Wrangler 4xe.

Another concept, the Jeep Wrangler 4xe Sunchaser Concept, is designed for recreational outdoor use. It includes space and equipment for full-day activities and is based on the Wrangler 4xe powertrain.
These 4xe concepts reflect Jeep’s continued emphasis on electrified powertrains within its off-road product offerings. They are among several concept vehicles to be displayed at Walker Drug in downtown Moab from April 17 to April 18.
Jeep will also offer test drives of the Wrangler Rubicon 4xe during the event, as part of its off-road and on-road driving experience programs for attendees with a valid driver’s license. These test drives will include access to the Baby Lion’s Back trail.
The Easter Jeep Safari also coincides with the addition of 10 new trails to Jeep’s Badge of Honor program, although the announcement does not specify whether any are exclusively designed for or tested with the 4xe models.
