Cadillac introduced its electric SUV lineup at Auto Shanghai 2025, including the Lyriq-V, Optiq, Vistiq, and Escalade IQ. The announcement emphasized the company’s direction toward vehicle electrification and highlighted new technologies and vehicle debuts for the Chinese market.

The Lyriq-V was unveiled as a new addition to the V-Series line and is the first V-Series vehicle to be manufactured locally in China. It includes a silicon carbide electric drive system, Brembo six-piston brakes, and an aerodynamic performance kit. According to Cadillac, the Lyriq-V can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.3 seconds, making it the brand’s fastest production model to date.

Also appearing in China for the first time were the Vistiq and the Escalade IQ. The Vistiq features what Cadillac describes as the industry’s first LiDAR system located behind the windshield, designed to maintain functionality in various weather conditions. The vehicle incorporates Level 2 driver assistance powered by the Nvidia Drive AGX Orin platform and developed in collaboration with Momenta. This system supports both assisted driving and parking without relying on high-definition maps.

Cadillac stated that safety is supported by a three-level Driver Monitoring System that includes eye-tracking to ensure the driver remains attentive.
Interior features of the new electric vehicles include a 33-inch 9K curved LED display, which surrounds the driver with high-resolution visual output. The Lyriq-V includes a 70-inch dual-plane augmented reality head-up display that projects both near- and far-field driving data. A Dolby Atmos 7.1.4 audio system with 23 speakers is also available in the Lyriq-V.
