Mercedes-Benz launches 2025 GLC 350e hybrid with 54 miles of electric range

he 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLC 350e 4MATIC plug-in hybrid SUV is now available in the U.S. market with a starting price of $59,900, excluding destination charges. This model offers an EPA-certified all-electric range of 54 miles, making it one of the top choices in its segment. The vehicle’s hybrid system includes a 134-horsepower electric motor paired with a 24.8 kWh battery, which provides a total system output of 313 horsepower and 406 lb-ft of torque. It supports a fast-charging capacity of up to 60 kW, allowing for a full charge in approximately 30 minutes.

The GLC 350e features a “Hybrid” drive mode, optimizing electric propulsion for scenarios like city driving, allowing for longer electric driving range without reliance on the internal combustion engine. Its combined fuel economy is rated at 60/70/64 MPGe, and for gas-only operation, it achieves 23/28/25 MPG.

This model comes with standard features such as a self-leveling suspension system, the third generation of the Mercedes-Benz User Experience (MBUX) infotainment system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a range of advanced safety systems, including a center airbag between the front seats. Additionally, the SUV is offered in three trims: Standard, Exclusive, and Pinnacle, with each adding further levels of luxury and technology.

Buyers can choose from 11 exterior paint options, including four exclusive MANUFAKTUR finishes, 13 upholstery combinations, and six wheel designs. Optional packages like the AMG Line and Night Package provide further customization opportunities. The 2025 GLC 350e joins Mercedes-Benz’s growing lineup of plug-in hybrid models, which also includes the GLE 450e 4MATIC SUV and the S 580e 4MATIC sedan.
