Ford Vietnam has introduced the Mustang Mach-E battery-electric crossover during its 30th-anniversary event on August 15, 2025. This marks the company’s first fully electric vehicle launch in the Vietnamese market, alongside the updated Ford Territory SUV.
The variant offered is the Premium all-wheel-drive model, priced at VND 2.599 billion, which is approximately $98,850. Ford is offering early-buyer incentives: the first 300 customers will receive a discount of VND 100 million (about $3,800), reducing the price to VND 2.499 billion (around $95,050). A complimentary wall charger, mobile charger, and installation are included. The first 150 buyers will also receive a six-month voucher for charging station access and a welcome gift.
Deliveries are expected to begin in late September or October 2025.
The exterior design features a coupe-style SUV body, full LED lighting, 19-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels, and Brembo four-piston front brake calipers. Inside, the vehicle has a minimalist layout with a digital instrument cluster and a 15.5-inch full HD central touchscreen. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are supported, along with wireless phone charging and a Bang & Olufsen premium audio system.
The Mustang Mach-E seats five. Rear cargo space measures 402 liters (about 14.2 cubic feet), which expands to 1,420 liters (roughly 50 cubic feet) with the rear seats folded. An additional 81-liter (about 2.9-cubic-foot) front trunk is included and features a built-in drain for easy cleaning.
Power comes from dual electric motors producing 395 horsepower and 676 Nm of torque (about 498 pound-feet). An 88 kWh lithium-ion battery provides an estimated range of up to 550 kilometers (about 342 miles) under WLTP standards. Charging options include 11 kW AC and 150 kW DC fast charging. Using a DC fast charger, the vehicle can add approximately 107 kilometers (about 66 miles) of range in 10 minutes or charge from 10 percent to 80 percent in about 36 minutes.
The vehicle includes a range of driver assistance technologies, such as adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go and lane-centering, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian and cyclist detection, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert.
Ford officials highlighted the company’s 30-year presence in Vietnam and its contributions to the local automotive industry, including job creation and supply chain development.
