Fiat has introduced two new variants of its all-electric 500e, named “Inspired By Beauty” and “Inspired By Music,” during the Aspen Ideas: Climate event in Miami, Florida. These models, revealed by Fiat CEO Olivier Francois, aim to embody Italian culture and the Fiat brand’s commitment to style and heritage.
The “Inspired By Beauty” model features a distinctive rose gold exterior, body-color mirror caps, and chrome daylight opening molding. Its interior includes beige eco-leather seats, a soft-touch steering wheel, and a dashboard wrapped in eco-leather. The starting price for this model is $36,000, which includes destination charges.
The “Inspired By Music” model celebrates Italian imagery and sound, with a Piano Black exterior and a JBL 7-speaker audio system, including an amplifier and subwoofer. A unique Virtual Venues feature, curated by Andrea Bocelli, provides a virtual-reality audio experience with four different acoustic settings. This model is also priced starting at $36,000, including destination charges.
Both models introduce Level 2 active driving assistance technology to the Fiat lineup in North America. This system features adaptive cruise control and Lane Keep Assist, offering enhanced driver assistance on select roads.
The 500e models are equipped with a 42-kWh battery providing a range of 149 miles. They support Level 2 charging with a typical charge time of approximately four hours and 15 minutes and include an 85-kW fast charger system for quicker recharges.
Additional features of the Fiat 500e include an intuitive design, a welcoming digital melody for passengers, and an acoustic vehicle alert system for pedestrian safety. The car delivers 117 horsepower and 162 lb.-ft. of torque, accelerating from 0 to 60 mph in 8.5 seconds.
The “Inspired By” models are expected to be available in Fiat showrooms across North America starting in the third quarter of 2024, offering an Italian-inspired blend of style, sustainability, and advanced technology.
