Toyota has introduced a new color option named Wave Maker for its 2026 TRD Pro lineup. This exclusive color will be available on TRD Pro versions of the 4Runner, Tacoma, Tundra, and Sequoia. According to the company, the models featuring Wave Maker are expected to arrive at dealerships in fall 2025.
Wave Maker is the eleventh TRD Pro color since the introduction of Inferno in 2015. It was developed by Toyota’s CALTY Design team. The team is based in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and is responsible for the styling of various Toyota vehicles. The new color follows previous TRD Pro offerings such as Terra and Mudbath, which drew inspiration from natural landscapes.
Toyota has had a presence in the United States for nearly 70 years. It currently operates 11 manufacturing plants and employs approximately 48,000 people across the country.
