Polestar 4 earns highest Red Dot design distinction

The Polestar 4 has received the Red Dot “Best of the Best” award in the Product Design category for 2025. This distinction is the highest honor within the Red Dot Award program. The Red Dot jury recognized the Polestar 4’s design direction and attention to detail. The vehicle was noted for its lack of a rear window, which was described as a unique design feature. The vehicle’s design combines coupe styling with SUV proportions. Additional features highlighted include frameless side mirrors, dual-blade headlights, and ambient lighting inspired by the solar system.

The Red Dot jury stated that the Polestar 4 demonstrates a balance between technical complexity and visual simplicity. Both the Polestar 3 and Polestar 4 received the Red Dot Label in the Product Design category, but only the Polestar 4 earned the “Best of the Best” distinction. All entries in the competition were individually judged by a panel of international design experts based on multiple evaluation criteria.

Polestar has received previous recognition from Red Dot, including “Best of the Best” for the Polestar 2, Brand of the Year, and awards for brand identity and printed materials.
