Polestar opens new retail space in San Diego

Polestar has opened a new retail location in San Diego, California. The new site, referred to as a Polestar Space, is located within the Westfield UTC mall at 4311 La Jolla Village Drive, Suite 2220. The launch was carried out in collaboration with Unstoppable Automotive Group.

This opening is part of the brand’s ongoing expansion within the United States. According to the company, more Polestar Spaces are scheduled to open in the coming months.

San Diego has been identified as a significant market for electric vehicle adoption. A recent report indicates that residents in the area drive approximately 872 electric vehicle miles per 1,000 residents on a typical weekday. This is notably higher than the national average of 227 miles per 1,000 residents.

The Polestar San Diego Space provides a physical location for consumers to view and learn more about the brand’s electric performance vehicles. Available models include the 2025 Polestar 3 SUV. For a limited time, through the end of April, promotional offers are in place. These include a $15,000 Polestar Clean Vehicle Incentive for customers interested in the Polestar 3. Additionally, current Tesla owners are eligible for an extra $5,000 toward the lease of a Polestar 3. These incentives can be combined for a total potential savings of $20,000.

Polestar executives noted the significance of the San Diego market and the importance of working with a local partner to support regional engagement and sales efforts.
