Porsche Cars North America, Inc. (PCNA) has expanded its charging network in the United States by integrating over 97,000 additional charging stations into the Porsche Charging Service. This development brings the total number of accessible charging stations for Porsche Charging Service customers to approximately 102,000. Additional stations are expected to be added in 2025.
The new integration provides customers using the Porsche Charging Service with access to the ChargePoint network and its affiliated roaming partners. This access is available through the My Porsche app. Customers enrolled in the inclusive period of the Porsche Charging Service or subscribed to the Premium plan can activate this functionality immediately. Those on the Base plan will receive access later in the summer.
The My Porsche app supports locating, activating, and paying for charging sessions at stations compatible with J1772 and CCS1 connectors. The integration with ChargePoint complements the existing partnership with Electrify America and extends access to other networks, including EV Connect, EVgo, Flo, EvGateway, and Ionna.
PCNA stated that the expansion is part of its broader strategy to support the increasing number of electric Porsche vehicles in the United States by offering a more extensive and unified charging experience.
