Porsche has unveiled the 2026 911 Turbo S at the IAA Mobility trade show in Munich. The new model features a twin-turbocharged T-Hybrid powertrain producing 701 horsepower and 590 pound-feet of torque. This represents a 61-horsepower increase compared to the previous generation. The all-wheel-drive sports car is offered in both coupe and cabriolet configurations.
The vehicle uses an eight-speed PDK transmission with an integrated electric motor and Porsche Traction Management. Equipped with two electrically assisted turbochargers, the system provides faster throttle response. The 911 Turbo S coupe accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 2.4 seconds and has a top track speed of 200 mph. Despite gaining 180 pounds over its predecessor, the car achieved a 7:03.92-minute lap time on the Nürburgring Nordschleife, approximately 14 seconds quicker than the outgoing model.
The updated chassis features an electro-hydraulic Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control system, designed to improve cornering stability and agility. The suspension setup works in conjunction with wider rear tires measuring 325/30 ZR 21, while front tire dimensions remain at 255/35 ZR 20. The standard Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes now use larger 410-mm rear rotors and motorsport-derived brake pads.
Aerodynamic changes include active cooling air flaps, an adaptive front diffuser, and an extendable rear wing. These elements reduce drag by up to 10 percent compared to the previous model and improve wet-weather braking performance. The standard titanium sport exhaust system and redesigned 3.6-liter flat-six engine contribute to reduced weight and a revised sound profile.
The exterior incorporates Turbonite accents, a design element exclusive to Porsche Turbo models, and offers new center-lock wheel options. Inside, Turbonite trim extends to the dashboard, steering wheel, and seat stitching. Carbon fiber inserts, a perforated Race-Tex headliner, and adaptive 18-way Sport Seats Plus are standard. The coupe comes configured as a two-seater, though rear seats are available at no additional cost. The cabriolet retains a standard 2+2 configuration.
Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur offers extensive customization options, including carbon fiber components, unique wheel designs, and additional paint choices through the Paint to Sample program. A matching Porsche Design chronograph is also available, featuring Turbonite accents and customization options aligned with vehicle specifications.
The 2026 Porsche 911 Turbo S has a starting price of $272,650 for the coupe and $286,650 for the cabriolet, including a $2,350 delivery, processing, and handling fee. U.S. deliveries are expected to begin in spring 2026.
