Qmerit, a North American provider of EV charging solutions, has introduced a replacement credit program for JuiceBox EV charger customers. This initiative responds to Enel X’s recent exit from the North American market, which leaves some JuiceBox chargers with limited or discontinued support. The program offers a $100 credit for residential customers and a $250 credit for commercial customers to cover permitting fees associated with charger replacement. This offer will remain available until December 31, 2024.
Under this program, JuiceBox customers can return their chargers to Qmerit, who will assess the need for either a replacement charger or a new SIM card. For those requiring replacement, Qmerit will recommend suitable chargers based on its extensive experience with EV charger installations. Qmerit’s certified electricians will handle installations, backed by the company’s network of over 23,000 licensed and insured electricians across North America. Each installation includes necessary permitting and inspections to ensure adherence to safety standards.
This program follows Enel X’s October 2 announcement of its withdrawal from the U.S. and Canadian charging markets, effective October 11. Residential JuiceBox chargers will continue to function without software or app support, while certain commercial chargers may soon cease operation entirely.
Qmerit provides implementation solutions for EV charging and other energy technologies and partners with major automakers globally. The company aims to simplify electrification adoption across residential and business sectors through its trained network of contractors and certified installers.
