Dodge has introduced its marketing campaign for the Charger Daytona, the brand’s first all-electric muscle car. The campaign, titled “Save the Planet,” emphasizes Dodge’s approach to electrification while maintaining its performance-driven identity. The Charger Daytona Scat Pack and R/T models are the initial offerings in the new lineup, which the company claims to be the quickest and most powerful muscle cars on the market.
The Charger Daytona Scat Pack delivers 670 horsepower and 627 lb.-ft. of torque, reaching 0-60 mph in 3.3 seconds, and completing a quarter-mile in an estimated 11.5 seconds. The R/T model produces 496 horsepower and 404 lb.-ft. of torque. Both models are powered by an all-electric, dual-motor system with a 400-volt architecture and standard all-wheel drive. The vehicles also feature the patent-pending Fratzonic Chambered Exhaust, which generates a rumbling sound designed to replicate traditional muscle car acoustics.
The campaign includes television, social media, and digital components, with video advertisements highlighting the vehicle’s features, including its exclusive Donut/Drift Mode, Sport Mode, and Powershot. A 60-second version of the campaign video is available on Dodge’s YouTube channel. In addition, exclusive merchandise associated with the “Save the Planet” campaign is available for purchase on Dodge’s website.
Dodge asserts that the Charger Daytona reflects its performance heritage while leveraging electrification to enhance capabilities. Both models qualify for a $7,500 federal tax credit when leased. Pricing for the Charger Daytona R/T starts at $59,595, while the Scat Pack begins at $73,190, excluding destination charges.
The campaign positions Dodge as a performance-focused brand transitioning to electrification without compromising its core values. The Charger Daytona is part of a broader multi-energy muscle car lineup, with additional models expected to follow in 2025.
