Mercedes-Benz will present its Vision V concept at Pebble Beach Automotive Week 2025, following its U.S. debut in Los Angeles. The vehicle, described as a chauffeur-driven limousine focused on passenger comfort, features an immersive entertainment system and is intended to preview the future Mercedes-Benz VLS Grand Limousine.
The Vision V was first shown in April 2025 in Shanghai before beginning an international tour, including stops in Dubai and the United States. At Pebble Beach, the model will display updates to its “Private Lounge” passenger area. This space includes a retractable 65-inch 4K cinema screen with Dolby Vision high dynamic range technology, a surround-sound system with 42 speakers, and seven projectors that create a 360-degree visual experience by extending the display to the side windows.
One of the vehicle’s seven interactive entertainment modes, Karaoke, has been updated for its U.S. appearances to include an English-language song in addition to the Chinese-language version offered in China. The cinema function, enhanced by Dolby Vision, is designed for movies, gaming, concerts, office use, or relaxation. Integrated seat exciters and ambient lighting that adjusts to music add to the sensory features.
The cinema screen is stored under the floor and rises from a console finished in burr wood and Nappa leather. It is controlled via a touchpad on the center console. The combination of traditional materials and modern technology is intended to reflect both craftsmanship and digital innovation.
Mercedes-Benz plans to introduce two new Grand Limousine models beginning in 2026. The VLE will offer up to eight seats and target both family and VIP transport uses, while the VLS will occupy a higher luxury segment. Both will be built on a new modular, scalable van architecture that differentiates passenger-focused Grand Limousines from commercial vehicles.
