Mazda Motor Corporation revealed two new concept models, the Mazda Vision X-Coupe and the Mazda Vision X-Compact, during its press conference at the Japan Mobility Show 2025. The presentation aligned with the company’s stated theme for this year’s exhibition, “The Joy of Driving Fuels a Sustainable Tomorrow,” which reflects Mazda’s outlook for mobility in 2035.
The Vision X-Compact is described as a model intended to strengthen the connection between driver and vehicle through the integration of human-centered digital design and empathetic artificial intelligence. Mazda stated that the vehicle is designed to communicate naturally with the driver, offer destination suggestions, and act as a digital companion to enhance daily mobility experiences. The concept illustrates Mazda’s direction toward smart mobility systems that focus on interaction between people and technology.
According to the specifications released, the Vision X-Compact measures 3,825 millimeters (150.6 inches) in length, 1,795 millimeters (70.7 inches) in width, and 1,470 millimeters (57.9 inches) in height. It has a wheelbase of 2,515 millimeters (99 inches). Mazda did not provide additional technical details such as powertrain, performance, or production plans at this stage.
