Chevrolet has announced a limited edition version of the upcoming 2026 Corvette ZR1X. The ZR1X Quail Silver Limited Edition will be available exclusively as a 3LZ convertible and is scheduled to debut at The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering, in Carmel, California, on August 15, 2025.
The Quail Silver Limited Edition features unique exterior and interior finishes. Notably, it marks the return of factory matte paint to the Corvette lineup for the first time in approximately 60 years. The matte finish, known as Blade Silver Matte, was inspired by the Inca Silver color offered on first-generation Corvettes from 1957 to 1959. The vehicle also includes a commemorative “Limited Edition” plaque and numbered build identification on the interior waterfall speaker.
Interior color specifications include a Sky Cool and Medium Ash Gray theme with Habanero accents. Additional design features consist of orange-painted brake calipers, carbon flash painted mirrors, and black exhaust tips.
The 2026 Corvette ZR1X is a plug-in hybrid vehicle combining a twin-turbocharged LT7 V8 engine and a front axle electric motor. Together, they produce a total output of 1,250 horsepower. The manufacturer reports a 0-60 mph time of under two seconds and a top speed of 233 mph.
Pricing for the 2026 Corvette ZR1X starts at $207,395, including a $1,995 destination freight charge (DFC), for the 1LZ coupe. The 1LZ convertible starts at $217,395. The 3LZ coupe and convertible are priced at $218,395 and $228,395, respectively. The ZR1X Quail Silver Limited Edition has a starting MSRP of $241,395, not including delivery fees. Production for this variant will begin in 2026.
The ZTK Performance Package is available for the limited edition model. It includes increased spring rates, revised chassis control calibrations, a carbon fiber aero package, and Michelin Pilot Cup 2R tires.
All versions of the ZR1X will be assembled at General Motors’ Bowling Green Assembly Plant in Kentucky using a mix of U.S. and globally sourced parts. The ZR1X is scheduled to reach the market by the end of 2025.
When compared to other performance vehicles in its class, Chevrolet lists the ZR1X’s price and performance metrics alongside models like the Ferrari F80 and McLaren W1. According to the specifications, the ZR1X offers 1,250 horsepower, a faster reported 0-60 mph time, and a higher track top speed, though at a significantly lower base price.
